Faundit

  1. Faundit
    1. Faundit ApS ("Faundit") acts as an intermediary between the freight company, our partner where the item is lost (“Partner”), and the owner of the lost item. Faundit is registered in Denmark (CVR: DK-40990062). Additional information is available at www.faundit.com, and contact should be directed to hello@faundit.com.
  2. The partner
    1. The partner in possession of a lost item is responsible for storing the item safely. All items are stored and processed according to the local Lost Property Act.
    2. The partner and its staff are not entitled to any finder's fee.
  3. Conditions of freight
    1. General conditions of selected freight solution apply. Please check the conditions of the solution selected shipping product. For instance:

    2. Local customs may charge VAT, and in such instances Faundit has no obligations.
  4. General conditions
    1. The courier may deliver the package to anyone at the address. If the delivery is unsuccessful, the package may be stored at a Pickup Point or changed to an alternative delivery address. The receiver will be notified.
    2. The courier provides basic insurance (fx 100 USD with UPS) if the item is lost or damaged while in their possession. The value and damage must be proven in a dialogue with the courier.
    3. Insurance can be purchased at an extra cost to cover shipments of a value of 670 EUR. The value of a used item is depreciated and must be proved by the owner. Shipment insurance does not cover indirect loss or damage, or loss or damage caused by delays.
    4. Items will only be shipped during the weekdays.
  5. Incorrect information
    1. The customer is responsible for providing the correct details, hence the customer will receive what is paid for.
    2. If the address or item details are incorrect or arrives late to the specified address, there will be no refunds.
    3. If the package is delivered to the specified address to someone other than the specified recipient, the courier nor Faundit takes responsibility.
  6. Service
    1. The provided service is shipment and coordination, hence in the moment of payment, the service has been consumed. If the shipment has not yet been dispatched, the customer can request a refund, however, once dispatched the customer has no right of cancellation or refund.
    2. The number of days in transit is guidance and deviations may occur.
  7. Payment
    1. Payments conditions are subject to Stripe.com (Atlas) Checkout User Terms of Service available at https://stripe.com/dk/checkout/legal.
    2. No extra fees will be charged. If the delivery information is incorrect, Faundit may ask you to pay an additional fee corresponding to the cost of shipping the item with the actual information.
    3. By completing the payment, you confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or that you are authorized by the owner to use it. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment, Faundit will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
    4. The price listed is inclusive of VAT. VAT is not included for countries outside the EU.
    5. In case customs charge any fees, Faundit must not be held accountable for any cost.
  8. Data protection
    1. Information supplied to Stipe.com is treated as specified in their Terms of Service.
    2. Faundit does not communicate personal data to third parties. Faundit solely uses data provided by partners to perform a service on their behalf.
    3. When the service no longer is relevant, Faundit will delete personal data. This is done after a maximum of 3 months.

  9. Insurance
    1. All claims on lost or damaged goods will be directed to the courier. Standard compensation conditions apply. Faundit will have no involvement in matters of lost or damaged goods but offers to help deal with the case.
    2. Faundit can offer extra insurance on demand.
  10. Eligibility to purchase
    1. Only the owner of the item has a valid claim to the item. Therefore, by completing the transaction, you confirm that you are acting as or on behalf of the owner of the item. Faundit reserves the right to deny any transactions.
    2. The service is available only to individuals and others who have been issued a valid credit/debit card by a bank acceptable to Stripe.
  11. The item's availability
    1. The service is offered at the moment the item is found. Once the item is processed as legal acts demand, the item may not be available.
    2. If the item is no longer in the partner's possession after payment, you will be informed about this and your payment will be refunded.
  12. Failure
    1. At our request, you agree to fully compensate, defend and hold Faundit harmless immediately on demand, its officers, directors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and suppliers, from and against all liabilities, claims, expenses, damages and losses, including legal fees, arising from any breach of the terms of service ("TOS") by you, including the use by any other persons accessing this site using the unique link sent to your e-mail account.
    2. If you breach the TOS and Faundit takes no action against you, Faundit will still be entitled to use the rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach the TOS.
    3. The TOS together with all Faundit policies and procedures will be governed by and construed in accordance with the relevant Danish law and the relevant courts of Denmark will have exclusive jurisdiction.
